“It’s Okay to be Neither,” By Melissa Bollow Tempel
Alie arrived at our 1st-grade classroom wearing a sweatshirt with a hood. I asked her to take off her hood, and she refused. I thought she was just being difficult and ignored it. After breakfast we got in line for art, and I noticed that she still had not removed her hood. When we arrived at the art room, I said:...

I can’t even say this is a remix of me, it’s more just a really gorgeous sound collage that my voice happens to sort of be in.

The Primary Rule of Ships and Castles:
Never piss off the Cook.
”I’ve half a mind, you know, to dismiss that Castellan of yours. Replace him. Damn bold, he is.” He said this late one night, leaning against the big head table.
The Lady considered a moment. “No.”
“No, Lady?”
“No, I should think you shan’t.” A pause, and she explains: “Cook likes him.”

I’m working on my Red Hood, tonight. I found a lovely little girl’s coat, the softest fur you could imagine! It’s going to line the cloak’s edges, and the hood. I have always wanted a lovely hood, lined with scrumptious plush! If I have enough left over (as I am dearly hoping) I will be able to make myself a muff, to match! It really is lovely stuff, and I’m glad I decided to...

There is a girl taking a mad dash to the wc, rushing back to the film. In her hurry she never notices her grandfather, standing ghostly in the mirror and trying desperately to warn her.

– This is terrible. 300:1?!? This should never happen, ever. Yet it’s horrifically typical of law in this country: a law created to help ends up being twisted and used to punish and hurt people. This is exactly why we need to fight and fight hard, to make sure these absurd and abusive...

1. If you work hard, and become successful, it does not necessarily mean you are successful because you worked hard, just as if you are tall with long hair it doesn’t mean you would be a midget if you were bald.

LEO AND LEO RISING
We all know you’re as brilliant and creative as both Einstein and Gertrude Stein put together, but how can you focus so much blinding talent into one coherent medium. It’s easy to tell you to concentrate in one area, but what are you supposed to do with a mind that can’t stop wandering?

Complexity in Doctor Who
I couldn’t agree more with this article. Since when has ‘complex’ been a bad thing? I couldn’t be happier with Moffat’s work on Doctor Who, and that’s just based on the few Season Five episodes I’ve seen. It’s engaging, interesting, makes you think. Good all ‘round!
